George Vassallo
President
George has more than 30 years in the construction industry, first working in the electrical distribution business for 25 years, ending as Vice President of Sales. Secondly, in the electrical contracting business as part owner for 5 years and then moving on into the roofing business as President and owner of Bothwell Accurate.
This background has given him a wide perspective on the construction industry from the look of several trades and therefore can view things quite differently with a vision incorporating both electrical and roofing. George has also bought back into the electrical contracting business to help his vision of vertical integration practices for the betterment of his customers. This is a perfect “FIT” to help move his team into the Solar rooftop business.
Mario Giraldi
Vice President Service and Waterproofing
Mario has more then 35 years in the construction industry, starting as a sheet Metal apprentice employed by LeBarre Roofing & Sheet Metal. Mario completed his apprenticeship in 1976 and worked as a Sheet Metal mechanic until 1982, when he was promoted to “Roofing and Sheet Metal Superintendent”.
In 1984 he started with Bothwell Accurate as the sheet metal superintendent, and, in 1988, was given the position of “Service Manager” for the already growing Service Department. In 1990, Mario started the Waterproofing division as the “Projects Manager”, and took on the responsibility of overseeing both the Service and Waterproofing Departments. In 2006, with the change in ownership, he was promoted to Vice President of Service and Waterproofing where he continues to grow an already successful Service and Waterproofing division.
Bruce Merstorf
Vice President Sales and Estimating
Bruce started with Bothwell-Accurate over 28 years ago as a junior estimator with his education background coming from Sheridan Colleges Construction Technology course. After spending 3 years as a Junior Estimator, Bruce changed directions and began work as a Superintendent. The experience as a Superintendent allowed Bruce to see the roofing industry from a different perspective and ultimately helped form the knowledge that is necessary to succeed in an estimating position.
From Superintendent, Bruce moved back into an estimating position where he spent the next several years until moving up to Chief Estimator, and then to his current position as VP of Sales & Estimating. Bruce has been involved with such jobs as the Air Canada Centre, Pearson Airport Terminal #1, Niagara Casino and the Toronto Convention Centre.
Brian Jamieson
Vice President Production
Brian Jamieson began in the construction industry while still attending high school more then 30 years ago. Brian started as a sheet metal apprentice in 1972 and completed his apprenticeship in 1977. Brian had grown up working in a non-union environment and made the decision to move to a union shop in1979. In July of the same year, Brian started with Bothwell-Accurate in the Sheet Metal Fabrication shop and by May of 1980, became a “Supervisor for Roofing” at General Motors and the Durham Region.
He remained in his position until 1992 when he returned back to the Toronto location and transitioned into the Production Department where he became “Projects Manager”. In 2006, Bothwell-Accurate underwent a change in ownership and Brian was promoted to VP of Production. Brian has made note that that through all the years, he has been fortunate to work with many hard working and motivated people within the Industry and will continue to do so to become the #1 Roofing Contractor.
